Hey guys at Indie-verse! I really like your station a lot.
However I just heard a really off pronunciation of the artist Bon Iver. The correct pronunciation is something close to Bone ee-VAIR or Bohn ee-VAIR. That’s the way I’ve heard it said on other radio stations, plus I just looked it up to double check for sure that that was right.
We all learn something new everyday!

When listening to your station on line, It doesn’t show the name of the band or the name of the song. Before it would, Is Indie verse going to address this problem in the near future?

Hi,
My name is Ignacio Grazzini. I’m from Argentina, and I sing and play the guitar in The New Beans; an indie rock band from Buenos Aires. I’m a music producer too (and I produce the band)
We’d like to promote our music in the US. Our influences are The Killers, Dirty Vegas, Two Door Cinema Club, The Strokes, Death Cab For Cutie, and others.
We’re not expecting to win money, we just want to promote our music there. If you are interested to play our songs in your radio, let us know.
Here is our myspace (we’re also in facebook, grooveshark, and others) http://www.myspace.com/thenewbeans
Thanks for your time, and I hope you like it. Regards
Jean

Hi all! I’m writing to introduce you to a musician by the name of Scott Dunbar One Man Band. He is a busker in Montreal Canada. He’s gotten lots of exposure on youtube, and I’ve also heard some of his music on last.fm; but in my opinion, if his name doesn’t pass the lips of at least one person in every household, he hasn’t gotten enough exposure. He’s done a cover of Michael Jackson’s Billie Jean, Old Crow Medicine Show’s Wagon Wheel (which is better than their version I think), and has written his own music. He’s played in clubs and at festivals around Canada. One of my favorite songs is his improv outside at the Artswells Festival (found on youtube, and on his website, labeled “Artswells, Part 1″). Explore. The more you find, the more you’ll be amazed. He crosses several genres with his varied style. His web address is http://www.scottdunbar.wordpress.com
Go to the download section under the music link and you can sample some of his original music.
My goal is to get him to come to Dallas. Anybody with me?

Hey! I was so excited when I found you guys on my car radio on 100.3 HD3, but after the winter storms last week, you went away. What happened? My stupid job has Baracuda’d your site, so I can’t listen at work either. What’s a girl gotta do to get some indie rock around here? Please come back!

Hi there! Just wondering, when are you going to do your drawings for the 35 Conferette Wristbands (both the website one and the fb one?) I know I have a small small chance, but I’m waiting on who wins to see if I need to buy a ticket or not. …. Or actually try and scrounge up the $ for a ticket
LOVE,

I really love this station & I can’t express how much of a life-saver this is to actually have an indie radio station in DFW!! Can I suggest more feminine vocals? Maybe an occasional DEV or Sleigh Bells or some Lykke Li or CocoRosie or Ellie Goulding? hah, that’s alot but I think it’ll add a nice spice up to the sound!

I asked you a question via Twitter and Facebook but you didn’t answer. I hope that you guys will answer here.
I heard a song 2 days ago it was Marquee With Nick. The song was kind of half-acoustic and melancholic.
Is it possible to send me the playlist of the songs you played? Because I tried to look for it on your website and I really, really can’t find it. It makes me mad haha.
Cheers from France!
