Jessie Frye’s Latest Effort
Friend of the show, Jessie Frye just debuted her first official video for “Like a Light,” the first single from herFireworks Child EP, released in May of 2011. We’re fans, so, take our word for it and check it out!
Using Kickstarter.com‘s fundraising platform, Jessie appealed to her fans to raise the budget required to shoot the video, making the necessary funds in a matter of days. Area filmmaker Cameron Smith from Retrofuture Films, who has also done video work for up-and-coming folk band Seryn, directed the video.
“I’ve always wanted to promote my music with a music video, and working with a professional like Cameron Smith was a dream come true,” said Frye. “I am really grateful to him for doing such an incredible job, and I’m especially grateful to all my fans for helping to make this video happen.”
