F3F: T Bird And The Breaks
The Blue Stage at Fun Fun Fun Fest has been the surprise highlight of the weekend. Its location, sound and proximity to a beer tent (priorities, people) have created a perfect storm of music festival awesomeness, only matched by the great performances from almost every band that hits the stage. T Bird and the Breaks, playing an earlier set on Saturday, was no exception. This 9 person band brought a mix of hip hop and soul to a stage that had previously been mainly all about the experimental electronic.
Their set was fun, groovy and just… different. I highly recommend you give them a listen, and do whatever you can to check them out live when their tour brings them to you.
