The French Have Arrived…
Can you say Bass in your face? A giant non-stop dance party was the effect of M83s performance. What they lacked in vocals and, at times, guitars, they made up for with their reverb effects and BASS. Everyone in the crowd had to feel that music rattle their bones. Even M83s strong on-stage chemistry made it hard not to have as much fun as they were obviously having on stage. Lead singer Anthony Gonzalez continued the fun by switching instruments at every song from guitar to keyboards and, of course, soft spoken vocals. This indie-pop band with their extreme bass is definitely a nice surprise when performing live. I do not know a single person that could sit still while listening to these guys.
