F3F: Les Butcherettes
Le Butcherettes “According to the FFF program, Le Butcherettes
promised heavy music, loud noises, and possibly even a “real pig’s
head”. Instead, what the audience got was a real-life version of Ross’
band from the TV show Friends. Plodding keyboards backed with a
unimaginative rhythm section, forced spastic moves to convince us they
were better than they really were, dropped F-bombs to show how edgy
they were – it was all there. Unfortunately, they forgot the most
important part: songs. This is a band that would have been better
suited tucked back on the Black Stage on Friday.”
