The Ladies at the Dallas Observer, Music Editor Audra Schroeder, Mixmaster editor Jamie Laughlin and The Overserved columnist Deb Doing Dallas, presented their FIRST weekly radio show, which will air every Friday evening at 8pm.
You’ll be guided through the weekend receiving recommendations for music, arts and nightlife events in The Ladies Room where you’ll also hear great lady-centric songs and you’ll have a chance to test out a signature cocktail, in an effort to get you ready for your night.
Last Friday the drink was the Brass Monkey, and the talk covered sitcom moms, dioramas, and there was even a discussion about recasting the “Ladies Night” video.
Don’t miss this week’s episode. Tune in every Friday at 8pm.

SOME DAYS ARE BETTER THAN OTHERS is Matt McCormick’s poetic, character-driven debut feature-length film that asks why the good times slip by so fast while the difficult times seem so sticky. Starring critically-acclaimed indie music legends Carrie Brownstein (“Portlandia,” Sleater-Kinney and Wild Flag) and James Mercer (The Shins), the film is available on Blu-ray and DVD now.

Tim and Eric are given a billion dollars to make a movie, but squander every dime eliciting the wrath of the sinister Schlaaang corporation. Their lives at stake, the guys skip town in search of a way to pay the money back. When they happen upon a chance to rehabilitate a bankrupt mall full of vagrants, bizarre stores and a man-eating wolf that stalks the food court, they see dollar signs-a billion of them. Featuring cameos from Awesome Show regulars and some of the biggest names in comedy today!
